The Geneva born daughter of professional classical singers, Maria - Angeles spent her childhood in a vibrant artistic environment, dedicating herself to theatre, dance and music.
She started her musical training at the Geneva Conservatory where she obtained the diploma for piano, and musical studies.
Laureate of a competition held by the Foundation of Young Swiss Musicians, Maria - Angeles won a scholarship to attend the Ciem-Mozart International Piano Foundation allowing her to study under Professor Fausto Zadra.
She continued to advance her piano skills with parallel studies under Victor Merzanov professor at the Moscow Conservatory, and Jean-Claude Pennetier,  professor at the Higher National Conservatory of Paris. 
Collaboration with composer Dominique Barthassat, producing works of contemporary music at the  Centre d’exploration Musicale of Geneva allowed her to gain experience of other forms of musical expression.
After classical training, solo piano concerts and chamber orchestra work, Maria-Angeles became increasingly drawn toward popular music, developing a passion for Latin American genres and particularly for Bolero. Driven by this new love she added singing to her artistic skills.
Further collaboration with renown Geneva musicians – Uruguayan pianist José Musetti,  percussionist Julio D’Santiago and contrabassist David Brito, both from Venezuela - lead to performances in numerous festivals and theatres across Europe.
The sensitivity and talent of pianist and singer Maria-Angeles continue to enchant her audience. The enrichment of her artistic skill with charisma and a great capacity for musical expression cannot fail to impress.
